Finally finished up all the end-of-the-year and beginning-of-the-year parties! The TACHIBANA Dance Group had their shinnenkai and recital on Saturday 1/3. The following Saturday 1/10, SOH DAIKO celebrated their shinnenkai with a potlunch dinner and mochitsuki. “Boo” to all the people who pounded the last batch.
During this time, I had a quick performance with Charles and Jason of SOH DAIKO at Japan Society’s New Year’s Celebration. Whew. I’m glad the year is well on its way…
