HAPPYFUNSMILE in April and May
May 13, 2008HAPPYFUNSMILE had a very busy month of April. We drove over to Washington DC to participate in their annual Sakura Matsuri (4/12). Back home in NYC, we performed at the Columbia University Sakura Matsuri (4/18), and then a few of us played with Gaijin a Go Go at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Sakura Matsuri (5/4). HAPPYFUNSMILE performed with Ladybug, Love Etc, and Zan at the Knitting Factory (5/9). Our next performance will be at the New York Buddhist Church, where we are raising money for our upcoming summer Obon Tour in California!
